Count Formula

  Counts anything in a numerical dataset. Works only for number-based data

Works best on numerical data and returns the output of the number of cells that has data ignoring the cells that are empty.

Realtime Use Case 

If you have brought some fruits and only have the prices stored with you. How would you find the total number of purchases? The below example has text and numerical information mixed together.

Formula Syntax

You can select multiple cells from multiple columns or rows. COUNT will include all the selected cells and perform the operation.
